Welcome to the official website of Holy Family Parish in Manayunk, Philadelphia.

Ever since its founding in 1885, our parish has been a welcoming one. Following in the spirit of our founders, generation after generation have tried to live in the spirit of the Holy Family.

Our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents provided a beautiful church, school and other parish buildings. The present parishioners who are the recipients of that generosity are grateful to them as this legacy is passed on to future generations.

Beginning in 1885, the spiritual needs of our members have been well-served. Thousands upon thousands, known and un-known, have worshipped here. Countless children have been baptized. Many couples have exchanged vows. Loved ones have been buried. But most important of all, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been celebrated uninterruptedly in the past 125 years.

We are looking forward to celebrating our 125th anniversary of the founding of the parish. Hopefully you will be able to participate in the planned events, and I ask you to pass the word along to your family, friends and former parishioners.
